AIBUILD CEO Judges CIE 11.0 Finals, Championing the Next Generation of Innovators

Melbourne, AustraliaAIBUILD announced that CEO Yifei Wang served as a guest speaker and panel judge at the Corporate Insight & Empowerment (CIE) 11.0 finals, organised by the Malaysian Student Council of Australia (MASCA) – VIC Chapter. The annual case competition brought together top university talent to propose practical, AI-enabled solutions for the future of education.

“The calibre of thinking, the business acumen, and the sheer dedication on display were outstanding,” said Yifei Wang, CEO of AIBUILD. “From teams working into the early hours to finalists who engaged nearly ten Malaysian banks and conducted dozens of user consultations in a single week, their professionalism went far beyond typical student standards.”

Advancing AI × Education with Real-World Rigour

This year’s challenge focused on integrating AI into education with measurable impact. Judges evaluated entries on:

  • Problem clarity & evidence (user research, stakeholder interviews)
  • Innovation & feasibility (technical soundness, ethical considerations)
  • Business viability (operating model, scalability, partnerships)
  • Communication & teamwork (clarity, collaboration under pressure)

Beyond the technical quality of solutions, the jury recognised teams for their willingness to challenge assumptions, push creative boundaries, and communicate complex ideas with clarity and confidence.

Highlights from the Finals

  • User-centred validation: Finalists collectively completed dozens of consultations with learners, educators, and industry stakeholders within one week.
  • Industry engagement at pace: The champion team engaged nearly 10 Malaysian banks to pressure-test feasibility and partnership models.
  • Resilience in delivery: Multiple teams sustained 2 a.m.–4 a.m. collaboration windows to iterate rapidly ahead of the finals.

“Events like CIE 11.0 are powerful bridges between students and industry,” Wang added. “The real victory isn’t only on the podium, it’s the growth, connections, and lessons each participant takes forward.”

Congratulations & Appreciation

AIBUILD congratulates the winning teams and celebrates all participants for their resilience and determination. We also extend appreciation to MASCA – VIC Chapter, mentors, and fellow judges for creating a high-impact platform that nurtures future leaders, innovators, and changemakers.
